The pilot course is full, a huge thank you to everyone who signed up
When I sent the invitation to you a couple of weeks ago I have to admit I was pretty nervous. What if no-one wanted to know? So it was a huge relief when I checked my phone 15 minutes after the blog went out at 2.15pm to find that 19 people had signed up already. Big phew! We’ve had 35 people apply and although we capped it initially at 25, we’ve extended this so we can include everyone who wants to play.
Sharon gets muddy for Cancer Research
On 20th June, Sharon Gibbs, one of our wonderful finance training team, took on the mud obstacle course at Clumber Park to raise money for Cancer Research. This is a cause very close to Sharon as her sister suffers from a rare form of Cancer.
I have to say you definitely wouldn’t get me attempting that, so a big well done to Sharon.
Spreading The F Word
As you know, we’re always working hard to spread The F Word, to help more and more company owners take control of their finances to create stronger and more successful businesses.
This week we’ve had an article published in Fresh Business Thinking. This was something I wrote in response to an article about how a recent business failure had been blamed on their accounts software. (big thanks to Simon Lamb for sending me the story) You can read the article here (link is external)
The F Word goes Stateside…
And we had a flurry of excitement a couple of weeks ago when one of our blogs was picked up and published by a financial website in America, Bateman’s Financial Favourites. We’d like more of that please!
Tell me what you want, what you really really want
I write my blog because you read it. And I hope that some of what I say is helping to make a difference in your business. So I’d love to know what you think, what you’d like to know more about and I’d love any ideas from you for future blog posts. Perhaps you know someone who’d be perfect for an Authority Interview?
We get a lot of email comments and feedback every week, so we’re working on getting a comments facility added to the blog so that we can get a community going and all help each other more with our endeavours to create amazing businesses. Please email me any time with either feedback on the blog or things you’d like to know more about, we always love hearing from you!
